Draperies

Panels, or draperies, soften the edges. Layered with sheers, blinds or shutters or standing alone, draperies give any room a finished look bringing in color, texture and pattern to complete the design statement. Whether used as stationary decorative panels or as full service operable drapes, drapery panels are a hands down favorite.

Draperies are a superior insulation solution ranging from 50 to 80 percent compared to blinds which only offer about 10 percent insulation value. Other advantages include superior privacy, and complete room darkening when blackout lining is used.

Motorizing drapery panels is easy and affordable. When multiple windows are involved in a media room, or a hard to reach window, motorization can insure all draperies close at once and can be re-opened at the touch of a button.

Draperies are also cost affective as they can generally handle years of normal wear and tear. With periodic cleaning using a vacuum wand and brush, these window treatments are low maintenance with high value.
